wine review: Featherstone Estate Winery Sauvignon Blanc 2018

Ottawa, ON

August 2018

Matt’s review:

This crowd friendly expression of Niagara Sauvignon Blanc bursts with sweet nectar, exotic fruit, yellow apple and a hint of lemongrass, making it super attractive to those looking for a fresh and fruity white wine. With only 240 cases produced, this low production wine from one of Niagara’s impressive boutique wineries, Featherstone, is a great wine to pick up and enjoy this summer and fall with salads, spicy Asian dishes, or grilled fish cakes with fruit chutney. Tasted August 2018. 89 points. Matt Steeves – http://www.quercusvino.ca

Available at LCBO – $17.95 (on sale for $15.95 in August @LCBO )
