Wine review: Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars Hand of Time Napa Valley Red 2014

Ottawa, ON, Canada

August 2020

Matt’s review: The storied Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars Hands of Time Napa Red is a blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, and 3% Malbec which shows the purity of the fine Napa fruit. Aromas of rich cassis, blackberry, anise, and a hint of earth. Full bodied with a velvety texture, the palate shows black currant, liquorice, dark plum, and sweet tobacco on the finish. Enjoy this silky smooth Napa red with BBQ fare, beef tacos, and aged firm cheese. Tasted August 2020. 92 points. Matt Steeves – http://www.quercusvino.ca
