Matt’s review: Robert Mondavi’s Napa Valley Cabernet is a great expression of premium Napa Cabernet with each and every vintage. The 2018 shows expressive dark fruits, black plum, vanilla, menthol, and scorched earth. The palate highlights the great balance found in Robert Mondavi’s Napa reds, with fine integrated tannins, full body, loads of dark fruit character with a refreshing finish making this Cab not only super approachable right away, but a perfect complement to grilled steaks, hearty pasta, and stews, and a cellar candidate over the next decade.
