Rabbie Burns Night is a celebration of Scotland’s National Bard, Robert (Rabbie) Burns, as well as an opportunity for people to celebrate Scottish culture as a whole. A typical Burns celebration includes poems, a traditional “Burns Supper” of haggis, neeps (turnip), and tatties (potatoes), as well as at least one dram to toast the night.

Starting with approachability and elegance: Glenmorangie Original 12YO
This is the perfect introduction to Single Malt Scotch. Distilled in Scotland’s tallest copper stills for a light, pure spirit, then aged in bespoke air-dried casks that smooth the edges and dial up flavour.
Nose: citrus & vanilla
Palate: honey & peach
Finish: sweet ginger
No smoke. No bitterness. Just beautifully balanced whisky — welcoming for newcomers, beloved by enthusiasts.
Burns Night tip: Try the Bobby Burns cocktail
Glenmorangie Original + sweet vermouth + Bénédictine — a classic toast to the Bard.
Then going bold: Ardbeg Ten
From Islay, this is peat in full voice — smoky, coastal, medicinal, and unmistakably Scottish. One of the most heavily peated whiskies, it’s the perfect contrast to Glenmorangie and a brilliant way to showcase Scotland’s wild side.
