wine review: La Crema Monterey Pinot Noir 2019
2019 Monterey Pinot is very approachable with impressive complexity on the nose and palate, something you don’t always get that this price point. Look for cherry, raspberry, plum, fragrant herbs with a subtle earthiness and flinty minerality on the nose and palate. Ripe, refreshing, and polished, it’s showing beautifully now and will be great over the next few years paired alongside braised grouse with bacon and sage, grilled pork tenderloin with a cherry compote, or wood-fired Margherita pizza. All great pairings with this value-priced Pinot. Tasted September 2023. 92 points.
wine review: Tom Gore Farmer’s Blend (red) – this might become your go-to wine for under $20
A wine I suspect many will love given it's profile and price. Highly recommend checking out this new release from Tom Gore Vineyards and see for yourself. $19.95 at LCBO.
wine review: La Creama Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2021
La Crema's Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is an impressive wine that beautifully captures the advantages of the cool coastal climate. The unique combination of foggy mornings, warm days, and refreshing nights influenced by the Pacific Ocean, contributes to the creation of fresh and expressive wines.

Golden yellow, this barrel-fermented Chardonnay shows all the ripe orchard fruit, tropical fruit and sweet spice characteristics you would expect in a rich, refreshing, full-bodied California Chardonnay. wine review: La Crema Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2020
: Seductive and smooth, La Crema's Sonoma Coast Pinot shows ripe raspberry, plum, sweet spices and a hint of cedar on the nose. The palate highlights La Crema's softly textured style with layers of refreshing raspberry, dark cherry , and vanilla persisting on the finish. Enjoy this versatile Pinot with bacon-wrapped California Medjool dates, BBQ'd pork tenderloin with a cherry compote, beet salad with goat cheese, or lamb chops. All great pairings with this smooth and inviting Sonoma Coast Pinot. Tasted February 2023. 91 points. Matt Steeves - http://www.quercusvino.ca
