This fine Brandy is being released at LCBO as part of their In Store Discovery offerings, on Saturday August 19th. Highly recommend picking up a bottle, or three, as it’s a great drink to enjoy after a meal and will be terrific this Christmas as a gift to any connoisseur, or wine enthusiast, and with holiday entertaining it’s guaranteed to be a hit. Butterscotch galore! This sweet and beautifully balanced Brandy, made with PX (Pedro Ximenez) grape from the Jerez region of Spain, would be dynamite with holiday fruit cake, rum cake, or while enjoying a fine Cuban cigar, or one of my favourite non-Cuban sticks, a 1992 Vintage Rocky Patel. I gave this as a gift last Christmas and it was a hit! Rich, flavourful and luscious, a fine fireplace brandy.
