Matt’s review: Winemaker’s Cut Syrah is sourced from Deadman Lake Vineyard between Oliver and Osoyoos at the southern part of the Okanagan Valley where the best Syrah in the Okanagan are found.  Deeply coloured, the nose shows spicy dark fruits, black pepper, cured meat, and sweet clove. The palate offers fleshy black berries, spice, and roasted beets. Medium-full bodied and fine textured, it’s silky smooth with fine-grained tannins and spicy black fruit persisting on the refreshing finish. An ideal BBQ wine, Winemaker’s Cut Syrah complements any smoked, braised, or grilled beef, pork, or lamb dish, and also goes great with seared Tuna and grilled Salmon. Enjoy 2018-2024.
