Matt’s review: Each Spring when Featherstone’s new vintage of their super popular Rosé is released, it’s also a sign that patio season has arrived! Their Rosé has become a go-to for many each year given its fresh and fruity characteristics and terrific price. The 2020 vintage blends some of the Niagara Peninsula’s best reds (Cabernet Franc, Gamay Noir, and Merlot) highlighting the fragrant, sweet and refreshing, berry fruit that makes this such a quenchable wine to enjoy in the summer sun. Cherry, strawberry-rhubarb, Jolly Ranchers, and fragrant herbs in a dry and palate cleansing style. A great complement to charcuterie platters, cedar plank salmon, spicy Asian cuisine, and BBQ fare. Tasted May 2021. 89 points. Matt Steeves – http://www.quercusvino.ca
