Matt’s review: California is renowned for ripe and robust red wines, and Unshackled Red Blend 2019 is an outstanding example of a premium wine at a great price! Bold and beautiful, Unshackled Red Blend incorporates Zinfandel, Malbec, Petite Sirah, Syrah, Tannat, and Tempranillo, to produce a very complex and attractive wine showing smoky dark fruit, field berries, cherry Danish with a super creamy and smooth finish. A great wine to enjoy year round with hearty pasta dishes, smoked brisket, BBQ fare, and aged cheese, but equally great enjoyed on its own. Tasted January 2022. 92 points.
