Matt’s review:

Stoneboat Vineyards are located along the Black Sage Road just south of Oliver, in the heart of Canada’s wine capital. It’s here where they produce their impressive Pinot Noir, which I highly recommend.

2015 Pinot Noir Reserve is a medium ruby colour, the nose shows a complex bouquet with great concentration of cherry, spice, oak, and a hint of earthiness. The palate repeats with delicious cherry, spice, oak, herbs, and graphite minerality on the long finish. Medium bodied, it’s beautifully balanced with great freshness and intensity. The Stoneboat’s Reserve Pinot Noir is a great representation of premium Okanagan Pinot that fully supports Stoneboat’s title of “Pinot House”. Enjoy now and over the next decade as it evolves.
