Matt’s review: Originating from the Santa Maria Valley within Santa Barbara County, California, Cambria Estate Winery’s Julia’s Vineyard Pinot Noir showcases the character of ripe and spicy California Pinot that so many enjoy around the world. This single vineyard Pinot shows cherry, raspberry, strawberry-rhubarb pie, herbs, graphite and flinty minerality on the nose. The palate is refreshing with juicy dark cherry, baked cherry pie, raspberry, sage bush, and subtle savoury herbs. Medium body with a harmonious integration of refreshing fruit and spice, the silky fine tannins persist on the long finish. A great wine to enjoy over the next five years with with cedar plank salmon, lamb lollipops, and charcuterie. Tasted March 2024. 92 points. Matt Steeves – http://www.quercusvino.ca
