Matt’s review: Sartori’s Montegradella Valpolicella Classico Superiore is a fantastic value priced wine that shows the greatness this storied Valpolicella winery can achieve at such a bargain price! Ruby red, the sweet baking spices, in particular clove, jump from the glass while the dried fruits, leather and cedar complete the complex aromatic profile. Sweet and tangy dried fruit, plum, and spice on the refreshing and mildly textured palate. A lovely wine that would be ideal for entertaining and enjoying with a wide array of hearty dishes and throughout the year. Incredibly quality price ratio! Tasted November 2016. 91+ points.
