Matt’s review: Lindeman’s Bin 65 Chardonnay is bursting with ripe tropical and orchard fruit which immediately puts a smile on my face, especially as I think about those quintessential summer aromas. Melon, apricot, sweet corn, banana, and apple notes form the lovely bouquet. The palate is creamy with sweet tropical fruit, caramel, and spicy stone fruit on the finish. An impressive value priced Chardonnay that’s ideal served chilled in the summer, and equally tasty served at the table in throughout the year with butternut squash, root vegetables, and roasted poultry. Pick some up next time you head to the cottage or for your summer backyard entertaining. Tasted July 2017. 87 points. Matt Steeves – http://www.quercusvino.ca
Lindeman’s was pouring some of their wines recently at the Ottawa Bluesfest. How great is that…listening to some of the finest rock stars while sipping on a glass of wine enjoying our Ottawa summer, no matter how cloudy it may be, enjoying wine and listening to great music make everything that much better.
