Matt’s review:

Following the successful return of Le Grand Clos three years ago, wine lovers will be happy to hear of the introduction of Le Clos Jordanne’s value-priced Jordan Village Pinot Noir in summer 2021. A blend of select parcels from Le Clos Estate, Claystone Estate, and Talon Ridge Estate vineyards, the result is a premium wine at a great price, arguably one of the best value-priced Pinot Noirs you’ll come across these days. LCJ are known for their complex vins de terroirs, taking single varietal wines and showcasing the great characteristics of their vineyards in their award winning wines. The nose shows brandied cherries, raspberry, warm spices, herbs, and flinty minerality. Finely textured, with dark cherry and refreshing minerality on the finish, this wine will benefit from some cellar time or a generous decant if patience are in short supply. Incredible value for under $25, this is a wine to buy by the case, and plan on starting your vertical in anticipation for more terrific vintages to come! Tasted July 2021. 91-92 points. Available winery direct – $24.95 and look for it in Vintages later this summer/fall, perhaps in time for Thanksgiving.
