Matt’s review:
Using 100% estate fruit from their Southern Okanagan vineyards, CedarCreek’s Cabernet Franc showcases the purity and complexity of the fruit grown in Canada’s pocket desert.
A blend of 90% Cabernet Franc and 10% Merlot, all estate grown, harvested mid-October, fermented in stainless steel then aged in French oak for 12 months. The result, a wine with fantastic freshness and purity. A very stimulating wine. The nose shows a medley of sweet dark fruits, forest floor, and cedar, while the palate highlights the complexity in this wine, with rich dark fruits, fragrant menthol and desert herbs, all in a very well balanced and fresh style. A perfect complement to BBQ’d fare, braised dishes, or charcuterie. Enjoy 2021-2026. Tasted November 2021. 91 points. Matt Steeves – http://www.quercusvino.ca
