Ottawa, ON

Matt’s review: Situated along the Osoyoos East Bench, at the very southern limit of the Okanagan Valley, is where Moon Curser’s vineyards are located. It’s here in arguably the warmest vineyards in the Okanagan where you’ll find the only plantings of Touriga Nacional in the Okanagan, and after tasting the wine you might say, perhaps there should be more in the far south of the Okanagan. Wow!

Deep ruby, the nose shows dried dark fruits, plum, sweet spices and violet floral notes. Great intensity of flavours on the palate, with layers of ripe dark fruits, cacoa nibs, and dusty fine-grained tannins that persist on the long finish. A very unique and impressive wine that I highly recommend. Cellar for a few years and enjoy over the next 10-15 years. Tasted September 2022. 93 points. Matt Steeves – http://www.quercusvino.ca
