wine review: Inniskillin Cabernet Franc 2018

92 pts wine review: 13th Street Winery Blanc de Blanc 2020

13th Street Winery have been making some of the finest cool-climate sparkling wines in Canada and the awards keep pouring in, including number 1 Ontario winery in 2022! Their 2020 Blanc de Blanc (100% Chardonnay) traditional method sparkling wine shows the trademark of their winemaker's style and expression of their great terroir...freshness, purity of fruit, and great minerality. The 2020 Blanc de Blanc is crisp and refreshing with delicious orchard fruit, anise, less on the nose. The palate show the racy acidity with a creamy mouse layered with clean orchard fruit and textured minerality on the finish. A wonderful effort and great expression of this impressive sparkling Chardonnay. Enjoy now and over the next few years. Tasted November 2022. 92 points. Matt Steeves - http://www.quercusvino.ca
